With an MBA from the University of Southern Mississippi, and five years of teaching experience in USM’s Finance Department – where he specialized in real estate and insurance courses – Don founded Don Nace, Inc. in 1973.

With approximately 30 years of market leading performance in the Hattiesburg Area, this Independently Owned and Operated franchise affiliate is one of the largest Real Estate Brokerage companies in Mississippi.

Presently, Don serves as the President of the Commercial Division of Don Nace, Inc. and Vice President of the Residential Division of Coldwell Banker Don Nace, Inc. With his extensive commitment to local real estate and his outstanding leadership qualities, Don has served in numerous positions within the Hattiesburg Area Board of Realtors®, including Treasure, Vice President, and a member of the Board of Directors. In 1983, his peers selected him Outstanding Realtor® of the Year.

Having been influential in constructing the Hattiesburg real estate market since the early 1970’s, Don is also contributing to the future of real estate in the Hub City. He has been an Executive in Residence at William Carey College where he has taught Real Estate Principals, Real Estate Finance, and Real Estate Valuation.

Utilizing his business skills and his commitment to service, Don has served the following entities: the Task Force on Economic Development for the City of Hattiesburg, the USM Foundation, the USM Business Advisory Council, and as a member of the Mississippi Economic Council, the Area Development Partnership, and the Christian Business Men’s Club of Hattiesburg.

Real Estate has become “the family business,” in the Nace household. Don is married to the former Winnie Rolison, who is one the leading Realtors® within the Coldwell Banker Don Nace, Inc. office.

They are parents of two sons; Todd, who has his own real estate appraisal firm in Hattiesburg, and Lance, who was in the home remodeling business. Don and Winnie are grandparents to two grandchildren, Taylor and Tatum.
